NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS – YES YOU CAN!

It’s that time of year, when all of us in Centerville will make our New Year’s resolutions. You’ve probably learned through experience that the best way to achieve these goals is making them realistic. The classic example is weight loss – it’s not enough to simply put it on your list! The likelihood of success will increase if you set smaller goals along the way. For example, losing 10 pounds in January by eating less and running 30 minutes each day. Are you vowing to boost your financial savings? Make an outline for how you’ll accomplish that, such as setting aside a specific percentage of money from every paycheck. Most experts in personal finances recommend having this money transferred directly to a separate account automatically so that you won’t be tempted to skip a month.
It’s also important to minimize your resolutions. Setting too many goals can make it difficult to accomplish all of them. Pick one or two resolutions and focus on how to keep them. Don’t be discouraged if you happen to slip up with a resolution on your list.
Our team has made the resolution to serve the local community whenever we are asked to help with fire, flood, or other disasters. Happy New Year from all of us at !
